ToupTek AAF - Automatic Electronic Focuser

Visit AAF is a compact, high-performance autofocus motor for telescopes. Plug-and-play, it efficiently converts manual focusing movements via a thumbwheel into precise software or manual commands.

Highlights

35 mm stepper motor with 1.2 N-m torque, capable of carrying loads of up to 5 kg.
Robust aluminum-alloy case measuring 45×60×47 mm and USB-C interface (5 V).
Compatible with ASCOM and INDI drivers for universal software integration (N.I.N.A., SharpCap, etc.).
Automatic control via software or manual control via supplied joystick.
Built-in temperature sensor allows focus adjustment according to temperature variations.

Simplified installation

Fit the supplied clamp on the crayford shaft after removing the focus knob.
Fasten the AAF with a suitable flexible coupler, using M4/M5 screws depending on the model.
Install the connection plate and secure to the focuser base using M4 screws.
Connect USB-C cable, temperature sensor and/or joystick as required.

Compatibility

Compatible with most telescopes (Sky-Watcher, SharpStar, Askar, TS/Astro-Tech, etc.), and controllable from astro software via universal ASCOM / INDI drivers.
