Visit ACUTER Solarus 80 is a 80 mm diameter, equipped with a permanently mounted white-light glass solar filter. This design eliminates any risk of mishandling and allows safe observation of many solar phenomena:
Solarus 80 complies with the international standard ISO 12312-2:2015 for direct observation of the Sun. It must always be used in accordance with the instructions.

This version of the Solarus 80 is supplied with a Sky-Watcher self-following solar frame, with advanced automatic sun-tracking technology.
Operating principle :
Simply level the tripod and point the telescope roughly to the left of the Sun: the mount takes care of the rest, without any complex alignment.
A universal smartphone adapter is supplied, making it easy to capture images of the Sun, sunspots or eclipses, so you can keep a photographic record of your observations.
