This 50 mm H-alpha solar telescope is dedicated to detailed observation of the solar chromosphere in the H-alpha line (656.28 nm). With its 50 mm aperture, it offers an excellent compromise between resolution, brightness and transportability, revealing with finesse the protuberances, filaments and surface details.
This version combines a B600 blocking filter, more comfortable than the B400, at a Rack & Pinion eyepiece holder with 10:1 fine gearing, This guarantees ultra-precise focusing, ideal for making the most of the available resolution.
Optimized to isolate the H-alpha band, this system makes it possible to observe :
The 50mm aperture improves detail separation and contrast compared to 40mm models.
Visit blocking filter B600 offers a larger usable diameter than the B400, providing greater visual comfort and greater flexibility in eyepiece selection.
The rack-and-pinion focuser with 10:1 fine ratio allows extremely precise focus adjustment. This finesse is particularly appreciated at high magnification to reveal the subtle details of the chromosphere.
