FMA180 PRO AF Kit : Automated Focusing for the FMA180 PRO Lens

Visit FMA180 PRO AF Kit is an astronomical accessory designed specifically for the FMA180 PRO lens to work with ZWO's EAF (electronic automatic focuser). This kit automates and improves focus accuracy, making astronomical observation and astrophotography more efficient and precise for astronomy enthusiasts.

Kit components

A black square bracket to hold the EAF
A synchronous belt
A synchronous pulley
Locking screws
Two M6×8 hex head screws
Four M4×8 pan head screws

Installation steps

Remove the dovetail plate and finder base from the FMA180 PRO lens. Attach the EAF bracket to the FMA180 PRO using two M4×8 screws.
Use a 2.5 mm Allen key to tighten the bracket fixing screws.
Use a 1.2 mm Allen key to secure the synchronous pulley to the EAF.
Install the synchronous belt between the EAF and the pulley.
Adjust the position of the EAF and finalize the installation by securing the assembly to a Vixen dovetail plate.
