Traverse PRO features a load capacity of 5 kg, double the size of the previous version. This enhancement makes it possible to accommodate larger optical tubes, offering greater versatility in your choice of equipment. The mount comes with a sturdy stainless steel tripod, featuring two-section extendable legs and an accessory tray, guaranteeing excellent stability in the field.
Thanks to its connections Integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, The frame can be controlled wirelessly via a smartphone or tablet. The free app Acuter Sky, available on iOS, Android and even macOS, gives you complete control over your mount. Once you've entered your coordinates and aligned yourself (1, 2 or 3 stars), you can access an impressive database of over 11,000 celestial objects and automatically start pointing at the target of your choice.
The application's intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate and select objects, making sky exploration accessible to all. This Go-To technology not only saves time, but also makes it easy to discover new celestial objects, even without a thorough knowledge of astronomy.
The mount is equipped with DC Servo Motors for smooth, precise tracking, with a resolution of 0.676 arcsec. The worm and gear transmission system guarantees excellent tracking accuracy. Clutches on the altitude and azimuth axes also enable rapid manual adjustments if required.
In terms of power supply, Traverse PRO offers great flexibility. It can operate via a battery pack (8 x AA, not included), a power bank with supplied 12V booster cable, or a regulated external 12V power supply. A dedicated external battery holder is also included, facilitating clean and convenient installation in the field.
Compact and lightweight, the mounting head weighs just 1.2 kg, while the tripod weighs 2.7 kg. With adjustable height from 870 mm to 1340 mm, it can be adapted to any observation situation. Its compact dimensions make it easy to transport and install.
