10Micron GM 3000 HPS

Designed for demanding observatories an instrument load of 100 kg (OTA excluding counterweights), the GM 3000 HPS 10Micron combines sub-arcsec absolute encoders, 100 % CNC mechanics and an on-board Linux controller.

• • Pointing accuracy < 20 ″ RMS thanks to in-house modeling (100 stars).
  • Tracking error ≈ 1 ″ p-p / 15 min - long exposure imaging without autoguiding possible.
  • GoTo speed 2 - 15 °/s and tracked up to ±30° beyond the meridian.
  • Closed system: after mains power cut, orientation retained, no new set-up required.

ATTENTION: Due to the weight and size of the frame, shipping must be on a pallet. To validate your order, you must add to your basket the "Shipping kit for GM3000", which contains:

• wooden transport crate
• the column-stand adapter (can be used at a later date to mount the frame on a stand)

These two elements secure the mount during transport and are then used to install it in your observatory.

ColdTemp" version

The finish ColdTemp uses cryogenic lubricants and industrial electronics for certified operation down to -35°C. The option is factory-integrated during assembly; not backward-compatible. All other features remain unchanged.
