0.8x gearbox installation
Installation is quick and intuitive, designed for easy set-up. Just follow these steps:
- Remove existing adapters: Unscrew the 2" and 1.25" adapters from the eyepiece holder of your Askar 185 APO.
- Prepare the gearbox: Remove the dust cap to expose the thread.
- Attach the reducer: Screw the 0.8x reducer directly into the telescope using the appropriate threads (M68×1, M54×0.75, or M48×0.75 depending on your configuration).
