With a 355 mm diameter primary mirror, this Dobson telescope plunges you into the finest details of the deep sky. The Dobson FlexTube allows the tube to be partially folded for easy transport, while guaranteeing impeccable rigidity once locked. It's the perfect balance between viewing performance and logistical practicality.
Supplied with two Super Plössl eyepieces (10 mm and 25 mm), a 9×50 optical finder, a Crayford 2″ double-speed eyepiece holder, an SLR adapter, and a smartphone adapter - all mounted on a sturdy, intuitive Dobson base.
The Dobson design, popularized in the '70s by John Dobson, is based on a simple principle: stability, fluidity and easy handling. The alt-azimuth mount allows natural movement in azimuth and height, with an optimized friction system to maintain pointing. Thanks to the FlexTube system, the tube can be folded (from 151 cm to 97 cm) for easy storage and transport.
This telescope is equipped with a mirror parabolic RAQ™ (Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz) treated, guaranteeing up to 94 % of reflectivity for bright, detailed images. The ultra-thin (0.5 mm) secondary support limits diffraction effects for optimum contrast. With a focal length of 1600 mm, this 14-inch is ideal for deep-sky and high-magnification planetary observations.
