The SKYMAX-127 is based on an optical design Maksutov-Cassegrain, renowned for its high resolution and excellent contrast. The primary and secondary mirrors are treated Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz (RAQ™), offering up to 94% reflectivity. This treatment guarantees optimum light transmission and increased durability, even after many years of use.
The primary mirror displacement focusing system enables precise adjustment, essential for sharp images at high magnification.
The real strength of this version lies in its EQ3 PRO SynScan™ Go-To mount, fully motorized and controlled by an intelligent control system. It enables automatically point more than 42,900 celestial objects, including catalogs Messier, NGC and IC.
Thanks to this technology, simply select an object and the telescope will automatically track it, making astronomy accessible even to beginners. The motorized tracking function also makes it possible to keep object centered in field, compensating for the Earth's rotation.
