Visit TS-Optics GSO 14″ Ritchey-Chrétien (355 mm, 2854 mm, f/8) with carbon truss tube and improved Gen.2 focuser is a powerful instrument for demanding observatories and astrophotographers. Its large diameter, optimized mechanics and exceptional stability make it a top-of-the-range solution for deep-sky imaging.
The 14″ RC illuminates a corrected field of around 35 mm without a corrector, ideal up to the APS-C. For the full format and beyond (~70 mm max. with dedicated corrector), TS offers optimized solutions. Thanks to the CCD47 reducer 0.67×the focal length increases from 2854 mm to ≈1913 mm, and the ratio of f/8 to f/5.36This has halved exposure times and widened the field of view.
Carbon virtually eliminates focus drift due to thermal variations. The design truss lightens the assembly, promotes cooling and maintains collimation in all orientations. The 30 kg tube is compatible with compact domes thanks to its limited length (~1 m).
Visit RAP 3″ Gen.2 significantly improves rigidity and precision: steel rail with bearings, gear rack (1:10), 360° rotation, high load capacity. Multiple integrated threads (M69, M74, M77, M82) for adapters, correctors and OAGs. Compatible with EAF-type focus motors without adapters.
