Visit Go-To SynScan™ Sky-Watcher kit for EQ3-2 makes it easy to transform the equatorial mount Sky-Watcher EQ3-2 standard into a motorized mount with automatic Go-To pointing system. This upgrade brings considerably enhanced user comfort by enabling automatic tracking of celestial objects as well as their rapid localization via the SynScan™ racket.
The system is equipped with the famous SynScan™ racket Version 3 with upgradeable firmware (Flash Upgradeable), providing access to an extensive astronomical database of planets, stars, clusters, nebulae and galaxies. After a simple alignment procedure, the mount can automatically point at selected objects and ensure their precise tracking during observation.
The kit includes two stepper motors dedicated to the Right Ascension (RA) and Declination (DEC) axes. These motors ensure smooth, precise movements, particularly useful for high-magnification observation and early experiments in astrophotography. Motorized tracking keeps objects centered in the field of view without permanent manual correction.
To ensure full compatibility with the EQ3-2 mount, the kit also includes a new electronic control panel / motor board replacing the original system. A cable for the SynScan™ racket, a cable clamp and a mounting bracket for the hand control are also supplied for clean, convenient installation.
The kit requires an external power supply 12V DC to operate correctly. This power supply is not included and must be purchased separately. A stable power supply is recommended to ensure optimum performance of the Go-To system and motors during long observation sessions.
Thanks to this upgrade, the Sky-Watcher EQ3-2 mount becomes a much more powerful and comfortable solution for exploring the night sky. The Go-To system makes it easier to find celestial objects and improves tracking accuracy, enabling amateur astronomers to take full advantage of their visual observations and to learn astrophotography more easily.
