Visit LS50THa Standard Kit is the most popular H-Alpha solar telescope in the Lunt range. Designed to offer high-precision solar observation at an affordable price, it combines an unobstructed 50 mm aperture with an internal pressure-adjustable Doppler True etalon system.
Thanks to its 0.6 Å bandwidth, this telescope accurately reveals the protuberances, filaments and active regions of the solar chromosphere. Compact and lightweight, weighing in at just 3 lbs, it's the ideal solution for nomadic, everyday solar observation.
The main advantage of the LS50THa Standard Kit lies in its system Pressure-Tuned Doppler True. Unlike conventional tilt tuning, pressure tuning acts uniformly across the entire standard, allowing different areas of the H-Alpha line to be scanned with great precision.

The SunLock solar finder provides fast, safe alignment thanks to its red dot projection on a glass reticle.
Like all Lunt 50 mm systems, the LS50THa Standard is compatible with the new-generation LS50C double-stack filter.
The addition of this filter reduces the combined bandwidth to around 0.30 Å, considerably enhancing the contrast of surface details and chromospheric structures.
