Visit LS80MT Enhanced Kit takes all the optical power of the LS80MT Standard and enhances it with a configuration designed for advanced solar imaging and high-resolution visual observation.
With its 80 mm aperture, individually verified 0.45 Å True Pressure-Tuned Doppler system and large-format B1800 blocking filter, this telescope offers outstanding performance in H-Alpha solar observation.
The Enhanced kit also adds a complete set of four Flat-Field eyepieces to fully exploit the resolution potential of the 80 mm diameter.
Like all LS80MT models, it also converts to an 80mm f/7 refractor for night-time use after removal of the solar module.
The 80 mm opening provides :
Magnetic structures become more visible and chromospheric details appear with greater relief and depth.
The LS80MT Enhanced uses an internal Pressure-Tuned Doppler True Barometric standard offering a verified bandwidth of 0.45 Å.
This pressure adjustment system guarantees :
Pressure adjustment allows the bandwidth to be precisely adjusted to reveal different levels of detail in the chromosphere.
The blocking filter B1800 includes an 18 mm clear aperture.
This filter is perfectly suited to advanced solar imaging:
The system is ready from the outset for professional solar imaging sessions.
The LS80MT Enhanced comes with a complete set of Flat-Field eyepieces covering all visual uses:
All eyepieces feature :
Changes in magnification remain uniform and free from stray reflections in the narrow H-Alpha optical path.
The Rack & Pinion 2″ dual-speed eyepiece holder with 10:1 reduction offers:
This mechanism is perfectly suited to high-resolution solar imaging.
The LS80MT Enhanced features a multifunction solar handle:
This system makes it much easier to use an 80 mm instrument in the field.
The LS80MT Enhanced is fully compatible with the optional SFPT Double Stack module.
The addition of the module enables a combined bandwidth of less than 0.28 Å for even higher chromospheric contrast.
Once the solar module has been removed, the LS80MT becomes an 80 mm f/7 telescope:
The LS80MT Enhanced thus combines advanced solar observation and night-time astronomy in a single instrument.
