Visit HAE29C (and its EC) is the new generation of compact frames from iOptron featuring Strain Wave Gear harmonic technology. Designed to offer maximum performance in an ultra-light format (3.7 kg), it can support up to 13.5 kg of payload without counterweight. A veritable miniature titan, ready for visual observation or nomadic astrophotography.
The "C" versions integrate the main motherboard directly into the mount head, eliminating the need for a control box or racket. With the Integrated Wi-Fi and USB + 12V ports on dovetailcable management becomes simple and fluid. Control the mount with a smartphone, tablet, PC or even a Raspberry Pi.
The version HAE29C-EC embeds a high-resolution encoder on RA axis which provides such precise tracking that autoguiding becomes optional. It's the perfect choice for demanding astrophotographers who want to reduce hardware and calibration errors.
