Heating elements from PrimaLuceLab are essential accessories for astronomers and astrophotographers. They are designed to prevent the formation of condensation on the optics, guaranteeing sharp observations even in conditions of high humidity or low temperatures.

  • Operates from a standard 12 V (EAGLE systems or external power supply via RCA connector).

Compatibility with the EAGLE system

PrimaLuceLab heating elements are optimized for use with the EAGLE system. By adding the ECCO (Environmental Computerized Controller), the EAGLE automatically adjusts power output according to temperature and humidity.

How to choose the right heating element?

  1. Measure the outside diameter : Take into account the actual diameter of your instrument.
  2. Check the length: The resistor should be slightly longer than the perimeter of the optical tube.

Examples of available sizes

  • Ø50 mm : For small instruments such as researchers and guide glasses.
  • Ø80 mm to Ø150 mm : For compact telescopes or secondary telescopes.
  • Ø200 mm to Ø450 mm : For telescopes such as Schmidt-Cassegrain and Newton.

Easy installation

  • Fix resistance around the optical tube with integrated Velcro.
  • Connect-Connect it to a 12 V power supply via an RCA connector.
  • Compatible with external controllers and variable power ports on the EAGLE system.
