Visit DWARF Mini Smart Telescope is the most compact intelligent astrophotographic telescope on the market. With just 840 g, This new camera integrates apochromatic optics, a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, a GoTo motorized mount and automated image processing in a single package. Ideal for getting started in astrophotography or complete an existing setup with an ultra-nomadic instrument, it lets you capture the Moon, Sun, nebulae and galaxies from your balcony, garden or while traveling, all controlled from your smartphone.

The DWARF Mini features a telephoto lens of 150 mm focal length at f/5 (30 mm aperture), 6 apochromatic lenses for sharp, chromatism-free images. Full-format equivalent focal length reaches 1016 mm, ideal for framing deep-sky nebulae and galaxies. A second 6.7 mm (45 mm equivalent) wide-angle lens enables rapid framing, the photograph of the Milky Way and threads of stars.
Optical specifications :

This is the DWARF Mini's great advantage over its direct competitors. Visit equatorial mode (EQ) to compensate for the Earth's rotation and achieve single shots up to 90 seconds without star trails. In concrete terms, this means deeper, less noisy images and better rendering of faint nebulae, a level of performance normally found on much bulkier setups.
⚠️ Important: equatorial mode requires a tripod to correctly tilt the instrument according to your latitude. Without a tripod, you'll be limited to Alt-Azimuthal mode (shorter unit exposures, approx. 15 s).
The DWARF Mini screws onto any standard photo tripod thanks to its 1/4″ screw thread. You have three options:

Visit Stellar Studio integrated into the application, allows you to generate a shareable image in under 3 seconds: star correction, noise reduction, nebula enhancement, addition of a personal signature. Perfect for quick publication on social networks.
For more advanced users, the Exportable RAW allow full processing in Siril, PixInsight or Photoshop. You retain total control over the final rendering.
Note: due to its focal length and aperture, the DWARF Mini is not optimized for high-resolution planetary imaging (Jupiter, Saturn). For this type of target, a long-focus telescope with dedicated camera is preferable.
The DWARF Mini is designed for maximum portability and the admission. Its big brother, the DWARF 3, offers a larger Sony IMX678 sensor (4K), 128 GB of storage and a 10,000 mAh battery, but weighs in at 1350 g. If you travel a lot or are looking for the most discreet setup possible, the Mini is unbeatable. If you want the best possible image quality from DwarfLab, take a look at the DWARF 3.
Tripod not included, see our options above.
On a personal note, I find it the ideal smart telescope to get you started. Naked, you can already use it and learn a lot about astrophotography. It's a great way to get started and really enjoy yourself.
The next step is to move on to equatorial mode with the dedicated mini tripod. This is where you unlock 90 s exposures and image quality takes a real leap forward. Finally, the ultimate goal will be to export your raw images and learn how to process them yourself in Siril or PixInsight to have total control over rendering. In short, there's plenty to keep you going for years to come with this little instrument.
In terms of build quality, this is DwarfLab: excellent. It's beautiful, light and elegant. It's sure to be a hit with your friends 😊
