Fog is one of the many enemies of amateur astronomers. In a cold or damp environment, droplets and mist can form on the lenses of telescopes and cameras, affecting the quality of observation and photos.
The Vespera humidity sensor is an intelligent accessory that measures the temperature and humidity threshold of your environment, at which fogging of your station's lens begins.
Its use is ideal for users living in humid areas (sea, ocean, river, lakes, ponds, etc.) or in areas with cold temperatures. The sensor is also ideal in winter, when temperatures are close to 0° Celsius.

An anti-fogging system
By equipping your station with the sensor, Vespera's integrated defogging system will activate when a certain temperature and humidity threshold is reached. The continuous heat generated around the lens will clear the fog, allowing you to observe in better conditions and obtain sharper photos.

Improved focus
The condensation that produces fogging affects the focus of the Vespera photo sensor in particular:
The hygrometric sensor and associated demisting system will enhance your observations and photos.
Discreet design
Measuring less than 13mm, the hygrometric sensor is equipped with an electronic board that is the smallest our engineers have designed in their professional lives. The sensor fits discreetly into Vespera's optical arm, and is compatible with filters. It will automatically switch the anti-fog system on and off, so the user never has to worry about it.
