With a 20 kg load capacity dedicated to astrophotography, the EQ6-R PRO easily supports complete optical configurations (refractor, telescope, camera, autoguider). Its synchronous belt significantly reduces backlash, guaranteeing smoother, quieter and more precise tracking, ideal for deep-sky imaging.
The system PPEC (Permanent Periodic Error Correction) allows periodic errors to be permanently corrected, thus avoiding constant relearning and improving monitoring quality.
The snowshoe Synscan™ Go-To included for automatic scoring from more than 42,000 celestial objects (Messier, NGC, IC, SAO, Caldwell, double stars, variables, planets...). Its intuitive interface also makes guided sky tours a breeze.
With pointing accuracy up to 5 minutes of arc (RMS) and a resolution of approx. 0.14 arc-seconds, This mount guarantees optimum precision for tracking and imaging.
The EQ6-R PRO is also equipped with a polar viewfinder for precise alignment, essential for astrophotography.
