Visit Sky-Watcher Evostar-150ED Super APO embodies excellence in visual and photographic astronomy. Thanks to its 150 mm apochromatic objective, this telescope delivers exceptionally sharp images, with high contrast and outstanding chromatic correction. Its optical design is based on an ED doublet, combining an ultra-low dispersion (ED) glass element with a crown glass element, ensuring faithful reproduction of details.
Air-glass surfaces benefit from exclusive multi-layer metal treatments, called "Metallic High-Transmission Coatings (MHC)which guarantee light transmission of up to 99.5 % - a real asset for planetary, lunar and deep-sky observations.
With its f/8 ratio, the Evostar-150ED is equally suited to high-precision observations and astrophotography. For photographers, a focal reducer/corrector 0.85x is available as an option to widen the field and perfectly correct the curvature of the field.
The scope is supplied in an aluminum carrying case, with machined mounting clamps and 45 mm dovetail bar. It is fitted with a Crayford 2" double-speed eyepiece holder (11:1)precise and fluid, ideal for fine-tuning.
Please note: the scope is supplied without eyepiece, finder or angled guide, leaving you free to add to your equipment as required.
